Golf Club Marigola

Il campo da Golf Marigola, progettato nel 1978 dagli architetti Marmori e Bellò, è un piccolo gioiello a pochi metri dal mare avvolto in una pace irreale dove poter godere di un’atmosfera familiare per uno sport all’insegna del relax. Il percorso è ondulato, su nove buche, modulato a tipiche terrazze liguri che dominano il Golfo dei Poeti. Con vista panoramica da molti tee di partenza, in particolare le buche due e tre da cui si può ammirare, nella sua bellezza, il golfo lericino dominato dall’imponente castello che sembra affiorare dal mare. Immerse tra ulivi secolari e vegetazione mediterranea, le buche sono ricavate spesso in stretti corridoi che richiedono al golfista estrema precisione; anche i green all’inglese rendono il gioco piacevole ed al contempo stimolante.
The Marigola Golf Course, designed in 1978 by the architects Franco Marmori and Pietro Bellò, is a little gem a few metres from the sea enveloped in a sensation of illusive peace, where you can enjoy a family atmosphere while indulging in this relaxing sport. The 9-hole course is undulating, tempered by the characteristic Ligurian terraces overlooking the Gulf of Poets. It features panoramic views from many of the teeing grounds, especially holes two and three, from where you can admire the beauty of the Gulf of Poets overlooked by the imposing castle that seems to emerge from the sea. Surrounded by centuries-old olive trees and Mediterranean vegetation, the holes are often found in narrow corridors that require extreme precision from golfers. The greens with considerable differences in height make the game both enjoyable and challenging.

How to get here:
Exit at the “SPEZIA” toll booth and take the motorway in the direction of the city; once you have reached the junction for Lerici, turn right and follow the road signs. The entrance to the club is located on the seafront between S. Terenzo and Lerici, in the Venere Azzurra area. Ring the intercom for the administration office or Club House.
